Consortium Group Pty Ltd

Founded in 2005, Consortium Group (CG) Pty Ltd was the coming together of likeminded individuals with the sole purpose of creating an IT company like no other, in Australia. Unlike many IT companies before us, CG was built from the ground up by IT Professionals. Becoming an expert in one field before moving on to be an expert in another field was our starting mantra. Whilst doing so, create a select group of Partners to facilitate our customers in other areas, such as Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Trend Micro, FortiGate, VEEAM and Lexmark Printers.

Every network we build, is designed and built from the ground up. A business is only as successful as the foundation it is built upon. And thus, CG starts at the bottom and works its way upward. Providing services above and beyond its competitors, CG soon became a quiet achiever in Melbourne.
Much has changed since opening our doors in 2005 and our business has had to absorb, develop and grow with those changes. The Cloud is now seen as the most vital component of any successful business and CG has developed partnerships with several Cloud leading Specialists like Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Datto Workplace, Trend Online, VEEAM online Backup to name a few.

Appearing in the CRN 2009 Top 50 fastest growing IT companies, in Australia, and being a member of the then Microsoft Round Table and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist, CG’s focus turned to Cloud computing. Virtualisation and the Cloud had arrived, and with it, a new type of customer.

Consortium Group has since become a Microsoft Silver Partner, Preferred HP Partner, Trend Micro Preferred Partner, Citrix Partner, VEEAM Partner, 3CX Partner and Preferred Partner with Datto Workplace. Consortium Group was one of the first companies in Australia to offer Hosted Exchange Mail. Since then, CG has worked with several local, national, and international companies. We have built networks from the ground up, constructed and project managed entire buildings and network infrastructures – local, national, and international. We have merged and migrated companies from across Australia and New Zealand. Today, we represent companies borne in Australia, Denmark, Germany, UK, India, and New Zealand.

We understand every network starts with the foundation. We know that failure is imminent, and it is why we offer solutions for redundancy, disaster recovery and backup testing. CG is currently the only company in Australia to offer replacement equipment, whilst its own customers’ equipment is being repaired. Having redundant servers standing by, gives our customers an advantage against their competitors.
